General Guidelines for Hostel Inmates
1.The students should keep their rooms tidy and clean and take care of the college furniture. Any damage done to the college furniture will be compensated by realizing the cost involved from the students concerned.
2.Daily attendance will be taken in the Hostel and students should not be absent from their rooms after 9.00 p.m. Late coming or overnight stay outside without prior permission of the Hostel Superintendent will result in disciplinary action against the defaulter.
3..Students are not allowed to keep liquor, drugs, inflammable materials, heater, electric device, fire-arms, weapons or forbidden articles in their rooms. They will be held responsible if these articles are found in their rooms.
4.The students must wear appropriate dress when they leave the Hostels and give good accounts themselves in or out of the Hostel by cautious utterance and polished manners.
5.No outsiders or guests will be permitted in the Hostel without permission of the Hostel Superintendent.
6.Discipline, decency, etiquette and order must be maintained in the Hostel in true sense of these terms.
7.Students intending to leave Hostel for short period must obtain prior permission of the Hostel Superintendent. They must sign the Hostel Leaving Register kept in their Mess before leaving the campus. They must report the Hostel Superintendent and also sign the same after returning within the stipulated time.
8.All lights of the rooms must be switched off by 10.30 p.m.
9.Mess of Men and Women students shall be managed by separate Mess Committees selected by the students body and will be directly controlled by the Hostel Superintendent.
10.Ragging is strictly prohibited in the Hostel. Any instance of ragging should be immediately intimated to the Convenor of the Anti-ragging Committee for necessary action.
