NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The College has four Units of National Service Scheme (NSS) having a total strength of 400 students from various departments. The aim of NSS is to provide an opportunity and working experience for social service. It is a platform to develop the personality of the students through social service. The enrolment of the students starts in the month of July. The NSS volunteers of the Mahavidyalaya participate in extension activities to serve the nation and community of the adjoining areas. Our institution also observes Netaji Birth Day, Republic Day, Rabindra Jayanti etc. every year. NSS units organize Blood Donation Camp, Thalassemia Awareness and Detection Camp and seminars on World Environment Day, AIDS day etc. Students are encouraged to participate in games and sports events and to develop their creativity. All these activities help them improve their personality and develop a social bonding with the institution.
