Seva Bharati Mahavidyalaya was formerly affiliated to the University of Calcutta and since 1st June 1985 the college has been affiliated to Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal.

UGC 2(f) & 12(B) Recognition

The college is recognized under section 2(f) and included under Section 12(B) of UGC Act 1956.

National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Recognition

The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) course of the college is approved by NCTE vide its Notification No.: ERC/NCTE/APE00724/B.P.ED./(Revised Order)/2015/32356 dated 29/05/2015.
